From the Principal's Desk

In October, South Haven Junior High chose one special student, Brooklyn Henry, as the October Student of the Month 2024. She has achieved this by turning in assignments, getting good grades, showing good character, and being helpful to others.

Henry is a young sixth grader who has been a part of the community since kindergarten. She expresses her interests for learning through her favorite subjects, which are Art and Creative Writing. She says that the best aspect of school is the opportunity to see her friends and learn in a supportive environment, where she feels free to explore her interests. She believes that a good student is responsible, listens to their teachers, and completes assignments on time, showing the importance of respect and responsibility in the classroom.
