THE CARDINAL CLUB
The Cardinal Club is the South Haven Schools Booster Club. All supporters of the schools are invited to the meetings and to participate in the activities that support our students.
CARDINAL CLUB MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the South Haven Cardinal Club is to support and promote the activities and programs of the South Haven School Students. The Club will work with the Administration, Staff, Coaches, Students and Community to identify and address specific needs. The Club will help facilitate fund raising opportunities that afford student enrichment and promote school spirit. For more information contact Kelli Dvorak through the school.
Cardinal Club raises money each year to benefit the school. This includes improving the playground, buying supplies like calculators for classrooms, and helping with individual teacher requests through the Cardinal Club Assistance Program.
One of the ways the Cardinal Club raises funds is through its annual flower sales in cooperation with Sedan Floral. This year flower sales were conducted in later winter. The flowers came in the third week of April. It is quite a job to sort all the flats and pots of flowers into individual orders. This year the FCA helped with that task.
Glennis Zimmerman. who orders flowers each year, said, "the flowers are always so nice and fresh, and they stand up to the heat of summer." She appreciates the Cardinal Club for making it possible to buy great flowers and support the school at the same time.
